Easter's Holy Week (Part 2) - Human Grace Displayed "Price Check" by WonderHunt
A Child Named Grace (digital artwork by C. Sexton)
As we come to the close of this special Easter season, one centered on honoring and glorifying our Savior for His redeeming love, I’d like to share one final WonderHunt short film titled Price Check. It’s a moving story that captures the divine beauty of grace, specifically human grace. The kind we extend to one another in everyday moments. I believe this grace is one of the most powerful attributes we can possess as human beings.
Human grace holds transformative power. When offered, whether to someone else or to ourselves, it opens the door to healing, both spiritually and emotionally. It gives us a glimpse of how God sees us: flawed, yet deeply loved; imperfect, yet fully redeemable. Grace is the heartbeat of God's nature and the reason He gave us the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Price Check brings this message to life. In it, a small act of compassion replaces judgment, reminding us that even the most ordinary gestures can reflect one of the most extraordinary truths of the gospel: Jesus stepped in and paid the price for us when we couldn't. What a powerful gift to remember during this Easter season.
So let’s celebrate God’s grace, a grace that doesn’t define us by our shortcomings but meets us in our need, offering peace, restoration, and the promise of perfect peace while we're here and eternal life when we leave. All we need to do is open our hearts and receive it.
A Question to Reflect On:
When and where in your life have you experienced, or even withheld grace? What can you do today or this year to extend human grace to yourself and others?
“For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” — Romans 5:10 (NIV)
